Passionate About Food

I can work with you to create your special day exactly as want it, I love to be part of weddings and have catered in many wedding venues from a marquee for 200 to 35 at the local rugby club, they are all important.

I come to visit you for an initial free consultation and have a meeting face to face to see what you want and if you feel we can work together.  We then meet again nearer the day, view the venue and again for the afternoon or evening before to make sure everything is perfect. As well as the wedding breakfast, I offer a wide range of simple evening food buffet style to help with the dancing and general enjoyment. I can provide staff for welcome drinks, to serve canapes and be on hand to help your guests in every way.

Cold Buffets

Ranging from sausage rolls and sandwiches to a sumptuous wedding buffet, menus can be created to suit your individual needs and budgets, a buffet meal can be a great ice breaker at an occasion and will bring groups of friends together.  This is probably the most flexible option and suits most venues and occasion, whether it is 20 or 200 guests. With a wedding, some brides love to join their guests at the buffet table whilst should you wish to have your top table served, while others help themselves that is easily arranged when you have a dedicated waitress throughout the meal.  Buffet meals can also provide a wide choice of homemade desserts and/or a selection of cheese and biscuits so guests have the same full meal of a more formally served dinner.

Hot Food

Hot food can be served in various ways from a traditional roast lunch with all the trimmings to a buffet of curry, lasagne, casseroles and pies all homemade.  These are all served with potatoes – roast, mash, baked or new, fresh vegetables in seasons, lashings of gravy plus Yorkshire puddings, stuffing apple sauce and mint sauce.

Local sausages and mash, shepherd’s pie, fish pie and vegetarian options all fall in this category, perfect for a autumn or winter event if the evenings have become cooler.  This option again can have a choice of homemade desserts or/and cheese and biscuits, served to table or buffet style

At such a sad time its important to show empathy and respect to your loved one who has passed away. I try to include foods they always enjoyed at the funeral wake and can be flexible.  Please be assured that you will have nothing to worry about on the day, this is an emotional and difficult period , I  will take care of everything so you will have time to catch up with family and friends, many we only see at such times as weddings and funerals.  There are a wide range of options for a funeral wake for each individual family to choose. All staff are suitable dressed for the occasion and show respect and sympathy

I offer a wide range of hot and cold canapes to suit a drinks party, before a wedding and any other occasion.

Afternoon Tea

Afternoon tea is such a versatile option, it goes down well at weddings, funerals, christenings and is always enjoyed by everyone, tea and cake is a timeless favorite with all ages. You can add some savoury items to the traditional sandwich and cake options, it can be all served on my lovely vintage china and from lovely tea pots to complement your wedding theme and venue.  It is often followed by a hog roast or simple hot meal in the evening at a wedding once the formalities of the day have finished.  See if your favourite cake is on my menu link at the bottom of this page, if not I am happy to make it for you, nothing is too much trouble.
